Penguin 4 Will Change Your Web MarketingSearch Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the many things we do here at Honest Site Success.  Usually, we share the struggle of many small businesses that try to rank as high as possible on the major search engines.

Google still counts for 66-67% of all web searches.  Market share on this level is on par with Kiwi shoe polish or Apple in tablets.   It’s gigantic.

It was a fun Monday… Thanks for indulging me in a bit of fun…  It wasn’t Ely, Minnesota unplugging from social media or GMail Blue.

I did enjoy the following video from Matt Cutts, head of webspam at Google.  Although released on April 1, this was legit and it’s a question I face all the time.  There’s lots of different reasons why a site which is spammy can rank so well.

What I also find interesting is the encouragement to report bad sites.  That will go over real well… check out some of the whining in the comments to get an idea.  The bottom line?  There are no shortcuts…
